This is good to see—Garmin is putting the kinds of features that up till now have been limited to high-end, multi-function displays, into smaller, less expensive units. The 376C, with it’s 3.75 inch color screen can find a place at most helms, or on your vehicle’s dashboard, and will overlay XM WX Satellite Weather imagery on the GPS chart display. The GXM 30 satellite weather receiver comes in the box and attaches to the main unit via a USB cable. The 376C has screens for tuning XM Radio’s music and talk channels as well (with a subscription), which you can listen to via an audio jack on the back of the main unit. In addition, depth sounder functionality can be added through the GSD 20 module. And of course the 37C uses the usual, Garmin BlueChart and MapSource, cartography. Pretty cool…
