A tough little camera: Olympus Mju 770 SW

I’ve posted before about Pentax water-resistant cameras, and how they’re downright handy. So a shock-resitant and waterproof camera from Olympus caught my eye. On a boat, a camera is sure to live a harder life than it’s lubberly brethren, so I’d make sure to carry something like this, even as a backup to a favorite SLR.

I tested both this and the new Pentax W20 and liked the latter quite a bit better. More info at panbo.com. But what I haven’t written about yet is that for myself I chose a Canon SD800, which is not waterproof but has superior optics.

Thanks for the comment and sharing your experience. Like you, I prefer the superior image quality I get from my Canon, but also like having the water-resistant Pentax in my toolkit.
