After being ferried out of the Port of Edmonds marina aboard a TANB (Trailerable Aid-to-Navigation Boat), a small group of visitors (part of a much larger group), climbed up the side of US Coast Guard Cutter Eagle.
Once on deck, we were officially greeted by Cadet First Class Craig Johnson.
We got a tour; thanks to our guides, cadets Ted Borny and Carl Luxhoj. Here are some pictures I took.
And now we’re underway!

Tim,
Glad to see you were able to post from the ship. Keep the photos coming, we’re watching for you to come into Elliot Bay.
Can’t wait for a pic from the futtock shrouds!
Would you happen to have a picture of Carl Luxh0j? I could swear that he was in my company when I did the AIM program in the summer of 2006.
I don’t. I have a reasonably good picture of Cadet Borny, but I didn’t happen to get one of Cadet Luxhoj. Sorry about that!
