It’s interesting for me to monitor which pages get the most views. Naturally the Navagear front page gets the most traffic, but beyond that…which individual blog entries attract visitors?
The results may surprise you.
Refilling disposable propane cylinders appeals to lots of outdoorsy types, not just boaters, so perhaps it isn’t surprising that it’s been the most-viewed page on the site this summer.
The Torqeedo electric outboard is an object of curiosity for lots of dinghy owners, apparently, but our Torqeedo video test only comes in at #16, for some reason. I would have thought the video would prove more popular.
Anyway, the list indicates to me that Navagear gets a substantial amount of traffic from plain old Google searches, which makes sense. Especially when we do our part and title a post in such a way that the title matches a likely Google search. Take a look at the Google results for this search:

Here, in descending order or popularity, are the top twenty-five viewed pages for the period from July 11, 2008 to October 11, 2008. The first page was viewed 1901 times in that period, and the last one was viewed 255 times.
