Busbars are a vital part of any electrical system, but traditional units can be difficult to mount. Revolutionizing busbar design, VTE Inc. introduces the state-of-the-art Tab-Type Busbar. Employing push-on type connections, this innovative busbar installs on average 255% faster than fork-type and 340% faster than ring-terminal-type connections.
With a heavy-duty, GF nylon base and 1/4″ stainless steel connection posts, the advanced Tab-Type Busbar is ideal for electrical power distribution and grounding applications. Available with 10, 20 or 30 connection points, the versatile device can be mounted horizontally, vertically and upside down.
Each connection point is rated up to 20 amps at 12 volts DC with a maximum load of 120 amps for the busbar. It accepts 1/4″ push-on, blade-receptacle-type terminals, also known as quick disconnect.
To comply with ISO 10133-10.6 and ABYC 183445(b), an optional Tab-Type Busbar Protective Insulator Kit is also available. Offered in red, black and yellow, the kit includes a protective cover, as well as 8-2 and 18-10 gauge terminal insulators.
