After extensive research and development, Quick introduces its latest vertical anchor windlasses, the state-of-the-art Aleph and Dylan.  Designed for the harsh marine environment, these windlasses are constructed from heavy-duty materials for trouble-free operation in the most demanding situations.

For boats 22′ to 49′ in length, the innovative Aleph is manufactured from aluminum anodized in hard oxide.  Unlike common types of anodization, this method provides a hard oxide layer up to 50 micron thick.  This high-thickness increases surface area hardness and resistance to corrosion and abrasion while also providing a longer service life.

Available in three models, the reliable Aleph delivers a maximum pull of 1,500 to 2,425 lbs., maximum working load of 660 to 1,190 lbs. and maximum chain recovery speed of 75 to 134 ft/min.  The advanced windlass can support 8mm and 5/16″ chain spliced to 1/2″, 9/16″ and 5/8″ rope or 10mm and 3/8″ chain spliced to 5/8″ rope.

Incredibly light, the superior Dylan features an AISI 316 stainless steel base with a hard, anodized-aluminum alloy internal structure.  Built tough, the robust windlass is designed for vessels 38′ to 64′ in length and has high-resistance to damage and corrosion.

Available in three powerful models as well, the durable Dylan can handle an amazing maximum pull of 2,425 to 2,866 lbs., working load of 882 to 1,653 lbs. and chain recovery speed of 115 to 128 ft/min.  The windlass is compatible with 10mm and 3/8″ chain spliced to 5/8″ and 3/4″ rope or 12/13mm and 7/16″ chain spliced to 3/4″ rope.

Versatile, the Aleph and Dylan can easily handle both rope anchor line and chain on a single gypsy.  The windlasses include an easy-to-open inspection lid, built-in sensor for a chain counter, manual free fall and emergency manual lift system to enable recovery of chain in case of power loss.  Both are available in a high-profile version with an optional drum.  Quick also offers a rope-only version.

With an unmatched 3-year warranty, the new models will be competitively priced with suggested retail prices starting at $1299.

An Italian and world leader in the production of superior marine accessories since 1992, Quick Nautical Equipment manufactures battery chargers, capstans, bow thrusters, water heaters and remote controls, as well as interior lighting engineered by the Quick Marine Lighting division.  It opened a US subsidiary in 2006, to foster improved sales and technical service for American customers.

I am looking to purchase an Aleph windlass for my Califonia 48 footer. Where do I go to get the product and an installer?

Can your windlasses be mounted to a vertical bulkhead?
