Every time I stopped by the Rose Point booth at the Seattle Boat Show, those folks were involved in what appeared to be intensive discussions with show attendees. I didn’t want to interrupt, and about half the time I was accompanied by an impatient young lady, so standing around waiting wasn’t really an option, either. As a result, I never really got a chance to spend any time with them and learn what’s new.
But it turns out there’s a reason they were so busy. They’ve got something to talk about. Rose Point Coastal Explorer 2009 has been released!
Keep in mind that the previous version of this software won both its categories in Mark and Diana Doyle’s comprehensive Hard Facts On Software review over at MadMariner.
I don’t have many details at this point. I’ve just installed the software myself, so I’ll give it some attention this week. I’ll share my own impressions, along with whatever details I learn once I’ve had a chance to talk with my friends at Rose Point. Stay tuned!
