		<description>Well, I don&#039;t think the recycling part of this is a given, for 2 reasons.  First, most people are lazy and will just chuck it.  But second, if my experiences are any indication, recycling centers don&#039;t look kindly on food waste or grease.  So yes, I suppose someone could clean this well and then recycle it properly, but I wonder how much that actually happens.  

This is a disposable product with a PR spin.  And not from Kirkland, but from China.

Also, it gets really hot underneath... they are banned in Berlin, and one of the PR photos shows it unlit atop a plastic tablecloth.  They&#039;ve been around in Europe for years, and are a real garbage problem in parks.  

Get something like the Weber Go-Anywhere, which is portable, can be reused many times, and is deep enough for more than one layer of charcoal.</description>
