It just keeps getting better. You and your readers might also want to check out the excellent Charts&Tides from Navimatics Corporation. Also native for the iPad, and similarly featured, Charts&Tides integrates the wonderful data accumulated by ActiveCaptain.com – anchorages, marinas, marine facilities, hazards, and more, which includes the local knowledge of the growing ranks of their members.
We find it tremendously useful. While one of us pilots using installed nav systems, the other can use the iPad and the location aware app to pan around and gather information about the markers, hazards, and alternative destinations.
Great price point and has all the features I can imagine I’d want. Really cool stuff here, thanks for the heads up.
